ValueOptions New Jersey is located in Hamilton, NJ - Mercer County and is the contracted administrator for DCBHS and provides services to the children of New Jersey to service behavioral, emotional and mental health needs. Funding from state (DYFS, DMHS, and Medicaid programs), federal, county, and local sources were pooled into a single system for at-risk children and their families, making services accessible through local service delivery systems, regardless of the child’s entry point.
ValueOptions provides centralized customer service for families and providers, clinical review to assure optimal use of services, and a state-of- the-art data management and electronic record system customized for New Jersey. These quality improvement methods and data management tools allow DCBHS to evaluate it’s reform effort and increase accountability for programs and services.
Through ValueOptions reporting, DCBHS tracks progress toward established benchmarks. ValueOptions has an expedient and efficient process of handling referrals, registration, reviews, and service requests. This fiscally responsible access management process reduces, and wherever possible eliminates, service and cost duplication.
