Residential Options is made up of 12 residential homes conveniently located in community-integrated settings throughout the Illinois Metro East. The goal of Residential Options is to provide a safe and positive living environment for individuals with developmental disabilities and mental illness. Each setting emphasizes a genuine home environment that promotes independence and recovery with staff supervision.
Company History
Residential Options was established in 1989 to provide quality housing and support services to individuals with developmental disabilities and mental illness. The company came into existence when Challenge Unlimited, Inc. accepted the request from the state of Illinois to close a large residential home in a surrounding town and develop other living options for individuals with disabilities
