sectarian organization that provides development
and humanitarian assistance. We are dedicated
to improving the quality of life and expanding
opportunities for children who are minorities,
disabled, orphaned or displaced. These children
are denied full access to educational, social,
economic and civil rights within their own

Company History
Founded by Nobel and Pulitzer Prize winning
author, humanitarian and activist, Pearl S.
Buck, PSBI programs reflect her dedication to
the promotion of tolerance, human rights and
inter-cultural understanding.
For more than fifty years, the Welcome House
Adoption Program has led the way in changing
attitudes and creating adoption choices which
transcend racial and cultural borders.
Specializing in the unique needs of multi-
cultural children and families, the Welcome
House Adoption Program seeks homes that will
celebrate the child's birth culture as well as
provide a stable, loving environment for
children.
