Founded in 1867, and located in Baltimore, Maryland, Morgan State University has been designated by the state as Maryland’s Pre-eminent Public Urban Research University and is one of the nation’s oldest HBCU’s. Morgan’s mission is to serve a multiethnic and multiracial student body and to help ensure that the benefits of higher education are enjoyed by a broad segment of the population. The university offers a comprehensive range of academic programs including 32 master’s degree and 16 doctoral programs, e.g. master’s and doctorate in public health, masters in nursing, doctorates in psychometrics, business, engineering, and history.
