OUR MISSION: Enhance the lives of adults by assisting them to remain independent at home through a range of quality services.
COA is a private, non-profit agency responsible for planning, coordinating and administrating local, state and federally funded programs and services for older adults in Butler, Clermont, Clinton, Hamilton and Warren counties. It is our mission to assist senior adults in these areas to live rewarding and independent lives through the use of programs and services that are funded at the local, state and federal level. COA matches senior adults to the programs that are most appropriate to them and the lifestyle and living environments they choose. By planning and coordinating these programs for senior adults, COA makes these programs accessible to senior adults.
Company History
Council on Aging of Southwestern Ohio (COA) is a non-profit organization with more than 36 years of compassionate, expert service to older adults, their caregivers and their families.
Founded in 1970 to serve and promote the interests of older adults, COA was designated in 1974 as the Area Agency on Aging (AAA) for southwestern Ohio. In this role, COA is the central planning and coordinating authority for services to older adults in Butler, Clermont, Clinton, Hamilton and Warren counties. Those five counties are home to more than 252,000 adults age 60 and older.
