Company Overview
CMSE is led by a four-member management committee
that is chaired by Mike Bailey, Assistant Chief
of the Choctaw Nation. The committee is located
at Choctaw Tribal Headquarters in Durant, OK.
The Corporate Home Office, is also located at the
Choctaw Nation Tribal Headquarters. This office
oversees all corporate-level support activites,
including human resources, payroll/benefits,
administration and accounting/financial
management. The Program Management Office is
located in San Antonio, TX. This office oversees
day-to-day management of all program operations,
acts as contracting office liaison, performs
invoicing, and recruits employees.
Company History
Choctaw Management Services Enterprise (CMSE) is
a wholy owned Enterprise of the Choctaw Nation of
Oklahoma - the third largest Indian Tribe in the
US. In 1997, the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma's
Tribal Council passed a bill to create CMSE to
provide health care and other personal and non-
personal serivces which it currently provides to
it's members, to the U.S. government and private
industry. Profits generated from CMSE are
allocated by the Tribal Council for use by the
Nation to enhance social programs, health care
services, educational opportunities for its
people and to further economic development in
the Nation's homeland.
