Children’s Hospital is a nationally recognized health system dedicated solely to the health and well-being of children. We provide primary care, specialty care, urgent care, emergency care, community health services, foster and adoption services, child and family counseling, child advocacy services and family resource centers. Our reputation draws patients and families from around the country.
Our Community Services division is the state's largest private, not-for-profit provider of child welfare services. Community Services has a 123-year history, working with families to build, sustain and enhance a nurturing environment for Wisconsin children.
We are dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of children and families and reducing the number of children in foster care by safely moving children in foster care to permanency in a timely manner. Company History
Founded in 1894, Children's is one of the nation's top pediatric facilities. It also is a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center verified by the American College of Surgeons and features one of the state's only Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Units. Children's is a private, independent, not-for-profit hospital. It is a major teaching affliliate of the Medical College of Wisconsin and is affliliate with more than a dozen schools of nursing. Other pediatric education programs also are assoicated with the hospital.
